First impressions counted when Citi Habitats associate broker Jimmi Circosta showed his listing at 20 East 9th Street to a New York fashionista.
He said it was “love at first sight” for the young fashion marketing executive when she toured Unit 10S at The Brevoort East.
“This co-op really had it all,” said Circosta. “A large living room with dining area, built-in book shelves, newly refinished floors, stainless steel kitchen and French doors in the bedroom.
“But what really made a difference was the staging job my colleague, George Case did to the apartment. He repositioned the furniture, moved some artwork, and generally de-cluttered the space. When he was finished, it looked like a million dollars.”
In fact, the unit sold for $645,000 after just seven weeks on the market. Leah Blesoff of Halstead Property brought in the buyer, who co-purchased with her parents.
“The moment she walked in, she felt as though the apartment suited her needs entirely. It was completely turn-key,” added Circosta.
